Playing with Power
A Guided Exploration of Your Authentic Dominance & Submission
#powerplay #beginnerfriendly #pleasurepositive #saferspace #queer
Power dynamics fascinate you — but the rigid stereotypes seem scripted, pressured and don’t quite align with your values, your sensitivity, or your lived experience?
In Playing with Power, we invite you into a safeR, consent-centered space where Dominance and Submission are explored as inner qualities rather than fixed roles or performances. This workshop is not about “learning” power play and fulfilling expectations but about feeling, embodying, and playing with different expressions - on your terms.
Our approach is playful, gentle, and sensual. There is no pressure to perform, impress, or push yourself beyond your limits. Instead, there is spaciousness, curiosity, reflection, and choice. You’ll be guided into an experimental field where you can explore your authentic expressions of Dominance and Submission, noticing how they show up in your body, your imagination, and your interactions with others.
What to Expect – Workshop Flow
The workshop unfolds gradually, allowing time for embodiment, reflection, and integration. We begin by arriving together and establishing a shared container rooted in consent, mindfulness, and mutual respect.
Embodied Exploration of Dominant & Submissive Energy
Through verbally guided prompts and somatic inquiry, you’ll be invited to sense into Dominant & Submissive energy:
Where do you feel it in your body?
What qualities emerge (e.g. steadiness, intensity, clarity, playfulness, softness, openness, devotion, resistance)?
How does this energy want to be seen or perceived?
What posture, breath, or movement supports it?
What emotions, needs, or desires surface?
After those embodied exercises there is room for deepening your experience through solo-reflection & exchange in pairs and in the big group.
Interactive Power Play Exploration
This section begins with a short demonstration by us, illustrating different ways power can be played with - subtly, creatively, and consensually. Then there is time for you to play! Everything is rooted in what you’ve discovered about yourself earlier in the workshop. Roles are then consciously released, followed by an optional switch for those who wish to explore both sides.
Aftercare & Integration
We close with spacious, collective aftercare. This time is intentionally open and responsive to individual needs:
Shared snacks
One-on-one or group conversations
Quiet self-reflection
Cuddling (with consent)
Being alone
Check-ins and questions for us as facilitators
A final closing round gently marks the end of the shared journey.
